Lakewood Hills Book Club

February 19, 2018 @ 7:00 pm
TBD- Smoky Rose or Urban Vines

Our next meeting will be on President’s Day- Monday, February 19th at 7pm. If it’s a nice night, we will try Smoky Rose, but if cold/damp- we’ll go back to Urban Vines. I’ll send a note out a few days prior and include in the mid-month Lakewood Hills e-newsletter. Once again, the book exchange was a big hit for our annual holiday gathering. Thanks to a great idea from Betsy- instead of choosing a book for all of us to review in February, we are all going to read the book we received at the party and then give a 5 minute synopsis of our book. For those of you who were not able to attend- please choose a book you have been wanting to read and plan to give a recap.

The list of books exchanged: (ratings from Goodreads)
1. We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson (4 Stars); 2. Interpreter of the Maladies by Jhumpa Lahiri (4 stars); 3. Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng (3.8 stars); 4.
