Lakewood Hills Neighborhood Association was created in 1981 by a group of people who were committed to help build a stronger neighborhood community. Their intent was to develop an organization that would bring neighbors together through activities and events. The association has evolved from a few people who gathered informally to discuss neighborhood issues to a large group of volunteers who work diligently to provide multiple services and make our neighborhood a better place to live.
The primary goal of our association is to promote and preserve the well-being and protection of the neighborhood; assure its beauty, safety, and stability, plus encourage neighborliness and pride with mutual respect.
Our neighborhood is situated in the well-sought after area of Lakewood in East Dallas. We are surrounded by several great places to eat, shopping, Lakewood Country Club, White Rock Lake, Dallas Arboretum, Santa Fe Trail – that connects to the lake and down into Deep Ellum. Lakewood Hills is a family-oriented neighborhood and we have plenty of clubs for everyone’s hobbies – Garden Club, Book Club, Ladies & Mens Night Out, parties, and a newsletter each month to keep neighbors tied to all the happenings in the neighborhood.
If you’ve just moved to our neighborhood – welcome – and if you have any questions, please contact us on our contact page.
